The Memory Mattress Medical Sublime is certified according to the EU guidelines as an anti-decubitus mattress. This mattress eliminates uncomfortable pressure points and guarantees the reduction of frictional and shearing forces so that optimal support for the body is guaranteed.

This mattress is composed entirely of water foamed Oeko Tex certified materials. It has a wavelike surface which is divided in 7 different density zones to offer the correct support along the whole body and ensure for perfect lying comfort. It is also highly breathable, ergonomic, hypoallergenic, antibacterial, anti odour and dimensionally stable.

Details regarding the single materials

Porex: This is the 3 cm thick, cream coloured, top layer of the mattress. Porex is an innovative material designed to be highly breathable. It’s open-cell structure guarantees for 10 times as much air circulation as in traditional mattresses. This wavelike layer also perfectly adapts to the body shape. It is shaped to have 7 different density zones thanks to which the weight and body movements are perfectly absorbed and distributed, eliminating any possible stress points.

Memory Space: This is the 5 cm thick white layer in the mattress. Memory space is a viscoelastic, dimensionally stable, anti-decubitus material. This material was originally developed in space technologies. The foam has a shape memory and adapts perfectly to the body. It guarantees optimal support to the spine.

Elastfoam New Technology: This is the 9,5 cm thick, black layer in the mattress. It is a modern, high-tech foam that is dimensionally stable and very elastic. It has a density of 40 DN.

Puracell Medium: This is the 6 cm thick, orange coloured layer on the bottom of the mattress. Like the top layer, also this layer is shaped to offer 7 different density zones which relieve strain on the spine and give extra support to the whole body. This material has an open-cell structure which makes it highly breathable, it allows the air to pass freely so that humidity can escape easily. This material is also naturally anti-mite.

Thanks to the viscoelastic materials with medium-high density the Memory Mattress Medical Sublime has an ergonomic, medium firm bearing capacity.

Tencel cover with silver particles

The mattress cover is made of a cellulose fibre named Tencel. It is certified as well as a medical device according to the EU guidelines. This fabric composed for 64% of hypoallergenic polyester and 36% of Tencel treated with silver ions can be described as a revolution in the development of ecological materials. Tencel is a synthetic fabric made out of biodegradable materials. It is appreciated for its smooth texture which feels pleasant on the skin. Thanks to the silver ions treatment the cover is antibacterial and antistatic.

The batting of the cover is composed of a mixture of Fibersanity and hypoallergenic cotton. The cover is completely removable thanks to a zipper that runs along the sides. It has two practical handles and is washable in the washing machine at 40 °C.

The netlike fabric band with silver ions that runs along the sides of the mattress increases the breathability of this product.

Packaging

The volume is reduced by 50% thanks to the vacuum-pack block and separate covering system. This product should be opened within 60 days of the date of purchase.
