Product features

The Variant Basic Bookshelf represents a modern interpretation of the minimalistic Japanese style. This model is made of natural, solid beech wood and has numerous height-adjustable shelves and plenty of space for all kinds of things and utensils.

It is equipped with a small pedestal with leveling feet for extra sturdiness and 15 height-adjustable shelves. The complete lower part of the bookshelf can also be used as storage space.

The entire back of the bookshelf is covered by a rear panel.

We recommend the Variant Plus Bookshelf if you want the lower section of the bookshelf to be equipped with deeper shelves; here the lower shelves are 10 cm wider than the shelves of this model. For customized orders ask for a price quote.

Exterior and shelves: solid 19 or 26 mm thick lamellar beech wood

Wood finish

The Variant Basic Bookshelf is available in natural untreated wood or wood treated with a water-based ecologic finish in different colours. If you prefer a transparent finish choose the option oiled.

Assembly

You will need a crosshead screwdriver for the exterior and interior of the bookshelf body and a drill for the rear panel. If you are looking for a fitter in your city, you can use this form for contact.

Care and maintenance

When cleaning treated wood use a damp sponge without solvents or cleaning agents. Untreated wood may instead be vacuumed or dusted.
