The Origami Compact Chest of Drawers is made of solid natural beechwood and is available with either 3 or 4 drawers. This model stands out for its deep cut handles that can be personalized in a different color to create a striking contrast. This original and elegant two colored design can be found in all the other furniture pieces of the Origami series.

Types of wood and thickness of panels

Chest exterior: 26 mm thick solid, lamellar beechwood 
Front panel: 19 mm thick solid, lamellar beechwood
Drawers: multi-layered birch

Wood finish

This chest of drawers is available in natural untreated wood or with a water-based ecologic finish in different colors which you can choose from the selection above. Choose the oil color if you want a transparent water based finish just to protect the wood.

Sliding systems for the drawers

The four drawers are equipped with a Blum metal sliding system with soft-close dampers. Each drawer is also equipped with 2 pull out stops. When you need to remove the drawers completely, this system can be easily unlocked by pulling pulling the drawer out and then lifting it up a little.

Assembly

You will need a crosshead screwdriver to assemble the exterior and interior body and a cordless screwdriver for the rear panel. If you are looking for a fitter in your area, you can use this form for contact.

Care and maintenance

When cleaning treated wood use a damp sponge without solvents or cleaning agents. Untreated wood may instead be vacuumed or dusted.
